The MOTR Moms On Tour

  • Unapologetically Unmedicated with Fierce Lizzie

What is WILD pregnancy? We have one of our good friends from the Moms off the Record podcast, Kat Sigblad, sharing about her current pregnancy with baby number two. With her first birth, Kat thought she prepared the right way, from firing her provider and switching to home birth to being educated on all things natural birth, but what she learned is even home birth midwives can be captured by the system. Not wanting her next birth to be sabotaged as well, Kat did everything differently, starting before conception and by doing her own prenatal care and having a truly autonomous pregnancy.

  • Resilient Fertility with Anisa Woodall

Katherine’s story is a beautiful example of resilient fertility and embracing a growth mindset on the motherhood journey. In this episode, she shares her story about her challenging conception and pregnancy journeys with her first child and how they motivated her to take her preconception preparation up a notch for her second baby.

She shares her experience of medical sabotage with her first pregnancy that led to an induction and resulting C-section and why she’s choosing to do a wild pregnancy and sovereign birth this second go-around.

  • With The Wind with Dr. Paul Thomas

On this week’s show, we meet April West and Katherine Sigblad, hosts of the “Moms Off the Record” podcast. These courageous women are new moms who aim to empower other women and mothers to think critically and to do it with confidence. This is a power-packed episode, especially for moms with babies at home. No topics are off the table with these ladies!

  • Aligned Birth Podcast

It’s Birth Story day on the podcast! Doula Rachael chats with a dear doula client, April West. April shares how she prepared for her home birth including: How she chose to have a home birth, how she chose her home birth midwife, how she prepared for giving birth prenatally, the tools she filled her tool bag with, her husband’s incredible support along the way. April also shares about her home birth: how it started, how it progressed, and how she navigated a long pushing stage and how she overcame hard obstacles to avoid transferring to the hospital.

  • Naturally Caroline

Kat joins Caroline to talk about releasing your inner people pleaser/good girl and how to stop censoring yourself so you can step further into your own power and confidence in your motherhood journey.

They chat all things crunchy mom life, the value of being a SAHM, standing against toxic capitalism, and of course, about jabs (specifically MMR) and being labelled “anti vax.”

Kat openly shares her why behind her wild pregnancy and sovereign birth journey.
