Moms Off The Record is a podcast for mothers who question the cultural narratives around motherhood and revere ancestral wisdom in our modern world.
Mainstream culture often normalizes separating the motherbaby dyad, outsourcing maternal intuition to “experts,” and following routine advice without exercising discernment or asking questions. Here, we have the nuanced conversations that don’t fit into the fast-paced, dopamine-driven Instagram world.
Topics include breastfeeding, matrescence, cosleeping, parenting, potty training, hunter-gatherer societies, and holistic health.

I found this podcast at the very beginning of my pregnancy and have found it to be so helpful and informative as I navigate my pregnancy and how I plan to raise my child. I really appreciate April and Kat’s frankness and openness in their opinions, as well as all the resources they provide so I can do my own research to decide what’s best for my baby. I look forward to many more episodes!

Moms Off The Record is informative, well researched, and easy to digest. They do an incredible job making the content entertaining, while talking about issues that actually matter as they relate to motherhood. MOTR is one of my favorite podcasts - I haven’t missed an episode and I recommend you do the same.

If you’re pregos, a new mom, #ttc, or want to just learn about the real deal about what’s actually necessary for real life situations, give them a listen. I’ve been following MomsOffTheRecord since they started. I’m currently pregnant and every time I walk, I put them on. I even reach out to them on IG and they ALWAYS reply back. It’s time for us mamas to stick together and not let the govt tell us how to raise our cubs. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
